About the Role
A busy family practice is adding a medical assistant to its clinical team. Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, working alongside two physicians and a nurse practitioner.
What You'll Do
- Room patients, take vitals, and update medical histories
- Assist providers during exams and minor procedures
- Administer injections and perform basic lab draws
- Manage prescription refill requests and patient callbacks
What You'll Bring
- MA certification (CCMA or RMA) or equivalent experience
- 1+ year in a clinical setting
- EMR proficiency (Athena preferred)
- Warm, patient-first communication style
